Up to now I have written three little utilities to make life a little easier with my DigiTech GSP-2101 guitar preamp/effect processor. All programs you find on this page are freeware.
Note: None of these programs are being actively developed anymore and are only left here because somebody might still find them useful. There is no guarantee that they work on newer operating systems, like Windows 2000 or Windows XP, and they have not been tested on them. In fact, there is no guarantee that these programs still work at all with newer hardware/software, since I don't use them myself anymore.
To perform patch and bulk dumps as with PatchDumper below, you can use any MIDI program that is capabable of saving MIDI sysex data. Any MIDI sequencer will do the job.
The most important program I wrote is probably 2101 Edit which is an algorithm editor for the DigiTech GSP-2101. It enables you to graphically create algorithms on your computer and then dump them to your 2101. Currently it only supports software versions 3.00.00 and 3.00.00a (which I do not intend to change for various reasons) and only the creation of single S-DISC algorithms. This is because I did not yet have the PPC card when I wrote the version you can download here. Once I hoped to find the time to implement patch editing and support for creating dual S-DISC algorithms but as it is now development of 2101 Edit has stopped. A few people were asking me about the source code but I can't give that out because I used libraries that I wrote for a company I once worked for and I am not allowed to give out that source code.

Another program I wrote is a sysex patch dumper which is specifically written for the GSP-2101. With it you can upload sysex dumps of patches to any program number you want. It can also do algorithms and bank dumps.

Another program I wrote is a program to emulate all button presses on your GSP. This program is useful for me when I am recording because my GSP is mounted in a rack where I have to stand up from my computer to change something. With this program I can always control program changes or even foot controller presses from my computer. With this program you can even completely emulate the Control One foot controller if you don't have it.
