I love Hitchcock anyway= nearly all his pictures belong to my
all-time-favorites since my early childhood. BUT if I would have to make
a choice, MARNIE is MY favorite, because this picture is such a sublime
culmination of all (the subjective) Hitchcock movies for my point of
view. I choose the song Glory Box from Portishead instead of the original soundtrack more intuitively. But while I was working on that trailer/collage I became more and more assured that this was the right choice (for me). |
